1. Cobalt oxide is black and grey powder, no smell and no sapor, can be solved slowly in hot muriatic acid and vitriol, not solve in water. Mainly used in ceramics, pottery and enamels as blue pigment, also could be used as oxidizer, oil paint and cobalt catalyzers.
